Este proyecto surge a partir de la participación como investigadora del Proyecto I+D Estrategias de Innovación en Mitocrítica Cultural. AGLAYA-CM (Ref. H2019/HUM-5714)
La mayoría de relatos mitológicos relegan la relación entre mujeres a la competitividad o los celos. La mitología clásica ha sido un referente arquetípico de comportamiento que, hoy en día, aún reproducimos. Por lo tanto, consideramos imprescindible recuperar de la historia, aquellos relatos que hablan de complicidad y sanación entre mujeres.
El mito de Deméter nos cuenta como la diosa de la fertilidad y de la agricultura, tras el rapto de su hija, se sumerge en una profunda depresión que va dejando tras de sí tierras muertas y cosechas perdidas. Cuando llega a Eleusis con aspecto humano, pide asilo en la casa de Céleos y allí se niega a beber y a comer por la tristeza que la envuelve, es entonces cuando aparece Baubo, que se levanta repentinamente las faldas y ambas comienzan a reír. Gracias a este encuentro Deméter vuelve a tomar consciencia de sí misma y recupera el ánimo y la energía para enfrentarse a Zeus y volver a encontrarse con su hija.

Most mythological stories relegate the relationship between women to competitiveness or jealousy. Classical mythology has been an archetypal reference of behavior that we still reproduce today. Therefore, we consider it essential to recover from history those stories that speak of complicity and healing between women.
The myth of Demeter tells us how the goddess of fertility and agriculture, after the abduction of her daughter, plunges into a deep depression that leaves behind her dead lands and lost crops. When she arrives in Eleusis with a human appearance, she asks for asylum in the house of Céleos and there she refuses to drink and eat because of the sadness that envelops her. It is then when Baubo appears, who suddenly lifts her skirts and both begin to laugh. Thanks to this encounter Demeter becomes aware of herself again and recovers the courage and energy to face Zeus and meet her daughter again.
We investigate the apotropaic power of Anasyrma: the act of lifting the skirts.
